If you have trouble accessing the site using Safari, you can resolve the issue in one of two ways: Change browser settings or Log in outside of the frameset.
MyEZBills uses frames to access the billpay service. After logging in, your browser is redirected to a secure server powered by our partner, FIS. The billpay service requires the use of cookies. Depending on the security settings for your browser, the use of cookies may be restricted. For Safari users, if your cookie settings are set to accept cookies "Only from sites you navigate to," you cannot accept cookies from another site when you are redirected to that site within a frameset. This limitation is what prevents your access to the bill pay service.
We contacted Apple about this problem. We were told they did not support this model because their priority was security over user-friendliness. The issue is unique to Safari users because other browsers provide the option to add exceptions for specific trusted sites. Unfortunately we received no confirmation from Apple that a similar feature will be added to Safari in the future. Until Safari provides this type of exception list, you will need to change your cookie settings in order to access the billpay site through frames. If you do not want to change your cookie settings, you can log in outside of the frameset.
Steps to Change Cookie Settings
First navigate to your cookie settings by opening your browser and selecting the Safari menu. Click on the Preferences option.
Next, click on the Security tab. Within the section labeled "Accept Cookies", click on the radio button next to the word "Always". You should now be able to access the site by clicking on the "Sign In" button at the top of this page.
